Activities
There is plenty to do in and around The Hague.
You get a unique picture of The Hague during a cruise through the center. You can book this boottour from April to October at the Ooievaart.
Or go out by bike and discover other places around The Hague. Explore Scheveningen beach. Or cycle via the Peace Palace and the Scheveningsebosjes to the Meijendel nature reserve.
A variety of forests in the area are also definitely worth a visit: the Clingendael estate, Haagse bos, and the Horsten estate near Wassenaar. When you are in The Hague in the fall, you will enjoy the beautiful autumn colours.

Attractions
In The Hague there are also many other places of interest where you can spend a nice day.
Are you in The Hague during spring or summer? Then you can go on a day trip with the whole family to the Duinrell or Drievliet theme parks. There is a wide range of attractions and water playgrounds.
Visit the unique miniature city of Madurodam. Here you can discover the Netherlands in miniature, but there are also many interactive games and attractions.
Close to the Peace Palace is Omniversum, a science museum for young and old. Visit exhibitions, watch a movie or go to the lab and discover what activities there are.
Admire a variety of performances in the Koninklijke Schouwburg. Enjoy music, poetry or theater in a beautiful building. The Koninklijke Schouwburg initially functioned as a city palace for Prince Karel Christiaan van Nassau-Weilburg. It only became a Schouwburg in 1804 and in 2017 it merged with, among others, Het Nationale Theater where everyone can now enjoy beautiful theater.
Shopping
The city center of The Hague has a wide variety of shops, most of which are open 7 days a week.
The Paleis Hotel is located in the Hofkwartier. Many vintage stores and other fashion stores can be found here. You can also have a delicious lunch or dinner. Or enjoy a drink in the evening in one of the bars in the Oude Molstraat around the corner from the hotel.
The trendy Zeeheldenkwartier is located on the edge of the city center and only a few minutes' walk from the Paleis Hotel. In this district you will find charming restaurants, fashion boutiques and a number of contemporary coffee shops.
In the other direction towards Noordeinde you can of course admire the Noordeinde Palace. But if you follow the road further you will come across nice coffee shops, boutiques and fashion stores.
The Passage is located in the middle of the city center: a beautifully covered shopping street with an atmospheric chic appearance. Definitely worth walking through and admiring the special architectural style.
Other streets are famous for shopping too, such as the Hoogstraat, Dennenweg or Frederikstraat.
